  • About Department

The department of Computer aided costume design and dress making was established in the year 1971 with an intake of 30. Formerly it was started as a diploma in Garment making. This is one of the oldest department since the institute started. The program has an intake of 60 since 2001. The department has highly qualified and dedicated senior faculties. A lots of co-curricular and extra curricular activities are to be done by the department to facilitate and encourage the students.  In the field of Pattern making, Advance clothing Construction, Clothing &Textiles, Fashion Illustration, Draping, Surface Embellishment, Computer Designing the students are imparted  to assist the Indian Apparel industry as well as to be entrepreneur to meet the challenges to the global market.
